This one is titled Boundaryland
Boundaryland by An Lausecta
It is acrylic on paper, a relatively straightforward painting. It is one of my simulated aerial photographs, though you'd never know it from the title. I see it as representing an ice covered lake shore or arctic coast. Or it could be a snow capped hillside looking up on giant foamy clouds. An successful experiment.
Simulated Aerial Photograph #2: from the plan memo by An Lausecta
The full title of this one is From the plan memory of a question but it got cut off by Imagekind. It is #2 in my simulated aerial photographs series.
This is a translucent green image that doesn't stray from mark making. A translucent paintscape in fractional dimension. It is a multifaceted image and this is my favorite aspect of it.
the telescope, which the hole ground. by An Lausecta
This one is from a few days ago. It is an underwater scene or one observed through an apparatus for viewing an eclipse. It is based on the miraculous similarity in density between water and air, which we inhabit as great because we have grown on this earth. Do you think electric eels could have formed a technology? If water were more electrically conductive. They could be in communication by telepathy and build a technology or one such as is possible underwater. They could farm coral for cement. I found a site about Under Water Cement.
More light than is in the world by An Lausecta
Also there is this one. It is about a bright day on the sea at sunrise. There the light will be so bright, your eye will feel full from it streaming into your iris.
